Are you ready for a HOWLING good time this Halloween? Then come out and join the Be-Paws We Care volunteers this Saturday at the Jasper Farmer’s Market on October 31st from 8 a.m.  - noon.

Look for the Be-Paws We Care booth where we will be selling items such as t-shirts, cat and dog themed tote bags, holiday tote bags, bandanas for you and your pets – and, we will be selling tickets for our fabulous ”Spay-ghetti  Spin-off” raffle items until 10 a.m. The winning number for each raffle item will be drawn at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, but

winners do not have to be present to win. Tickets for the raffle may also be purchased online at snip2020.rallyup.com/snip2020 until noon on Friday, Oct 30. When you stop by the booth, please ask us about our SNIP program [Spay/Neuter Initiative Pickens] and our Community Cats Program. Both programs help the cats and dogs of Pickens County and our volunteers would love a chance to tell you about them.

Best of all, for all the kids, kids-at-heart, and our four-legged friends, we will host a HOWL-O-WEEN  COSTUME CONTEST at 11:30 a.m. The contest is open to adults (16 years old and above), kids (15 years old and below), and their “up-to-date” vaccinated and leashed pets. There will be a prize for the best adult and pet combination costume, the best kid and pet combination costume, and the best overall pet costume. Be sure to arrive around 11 a.m. to check in at the costume contest registration tent next to the Be-Paws We Care tent.

PresentsforPets.org will be joining us Saturday, too. This charity provides new toys and supplies to needy pets throughout Pickens County, including the animals at the Pickens County Animal Shelter. PresentsforPets.org will have a collection box available at one of our tents and we would love to have you help by donating new dog leashes and collars for the shelter and unopened bags of cat food for our Pickens Community Cat Colonies and Caretakers.

We hope to see you and your pets this Saturday at the Jasper Farmer’s Market!
