Tater Patch Players

Tater Patch Players is pleased to announce their upcoming production of The Aurelia Women's League Flower and Garden Show Gala Planning Committee, a one act comedy by Judy Simpson Cook.

We will be presenting this delightful short play on July 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, 31 and August 1, 2. The Sunday shows are at 2 p.m. and the others at 7:30 p.m. The seating will be general admission and tickets will be available on the website (www.taterpatchplayers.org) or on show dates at the door for $10 each for everyone.

We will observe social distancing with our seating and will do everything in our power to make this wonderful evening of entertainment as safe and happy for you as possible. We want you to come back to the theater and have a "don't worry, be happy" experience.

Share Night, where we invite those members of our public who cannot afford tickets to visit our final dress rehearsal is at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 16. The Tater Patchers ask that you come share in the laughter of this final rehearsal.  In turn we request that you bring a bag or two of non-perishable food or toiletry items that we will take to the CARES Food Pantry. That's another way we can share with our community. The theater is at 95 Philadelphia Lane, near the Wal-Mart. You can reach us by phone at 706-253-2800 or by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Ms. Cook's play is sure to appeal to everyone. But it's especially to the point for anyone who's ever been on a committee with a very mismatched group of planners. How the situation is resolved and the hilarious path the characters take to get to the happy conclusion is sure to delight both men and women.  We invite everyone to come back out to the theater, for a shorter show -- but one with plenty of laughs to lighten your day.
