Pickens Libertarians to host political rally May 30

       The Libertarian Party of Pickens County, GA would like to invite you to our political rally and meet some of our local candidates at the JeepFest site in Marble Hill.

Featured races:

Chairman of Pickens County Board of Commissioners

Both candidates (Rob Jones and Kris Stancil) in the GOP primary has been invited but have not confirmed.

Independent candidate David Shouse, who will face the winner in November, has confirmed.

Sheriff Pickens County

Chris Tucker confirmed; Incumbent Donnie Craig not confirmed.

US Senate

Shane Hazel confirmed, a Libertarian candidate for US Senate, a Marine combat Veteran and host of the new show Radical. 

Georgia Public Service Commission District 1

Libertarian candidate Elizabeth Melton, confirmed.

 

Our featured speakers are Shane Hazel Libertarian candidate for US Senate and Elizabeth Melton candidate for Georgia Public Service Commission District 1.

Schedule

Elizabeth Melton opening the rally at 1:00 followed by Shane Hazel.

Then the debate for Chairman of Pickens County Board of Commissioners. The debate will be moderated. Closing with the debate for Sheriff Pickens County

If a candidate is a no show the other candidate will be given their time and either make a speech, take questions or have a Clint Eastwood style debate with an empty chair representing the opposing candidate. 

The location is 8795 HWY 53 East Jasper, GA 30143, the “JEEPFEST” field. Bring a blanket and lounge chairs to meet our most important local officials tell you their view for the future of Pickens county.
