Lanier Ingram, 81, of Ball Ground, GA passed away peacefully at his home Thursday September 29, 2016. A memorial service was held at Calvary Baptist Church 137 Hightower Rd., Ball Ground, GA. Interment will be held at a later date at Cherokee Memorial Park, Canton, GA. Reverend Robert Murphy officiated.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carolyn Ingram, Ball Ground, GA; sons, Keith (Ruth) Ingram, Woodstock, GA, Ken (Jeannie) Ingram, Ball Ground, GA, sister, Edith Harshbarger, Canton, GA, six grandchildren, Kody Ingram, Kayla (Joseph) Stagnaro, Jessica Ingram, Duncan Ingram, Christian Ingram and Candace Ingram.

Charles Robert Teague, 80, of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Hospice Atlanta. The funeral service was held on Friday, September 30 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Brandon officiating. Interment followed in the Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Teague of Canton; his daughters, Tamara (Ken) Owen of Ball Ground, Taryn (Tom) Perkins of Cumming, Tracie (William) Anderson of Canton, and Teri (Kevin) Potts of Canton. Ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.

Mr. Billy Heath, 79, of Marble Hill, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at his home. He was born January 31, 1937 to Cale and Bertha Heath, Jr. in Marble Hill.
Mr. Heath is survived by his wife, Carolyn Heath of Marble Hill; children, Rebecca Ray of Nelson, Billy and Cindy Heath of Jasper, Tracy Heath of Atlanta; brother, J. M. Heath of Marble Hill; sister, Tina Liedherr of Acworth; grandchildren, Heather Heath, Leila Heath, Sam Heath, J. R. Neagle; and great-grandchild, Georgia Smith. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
At his request, Mr. Heath was cremated.

Rev. Marcus McKinney, 65, of Canton passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at his residence.
Marcus, a lifelong resident of the Buffington Community, was a man of great integrity and conviction for his faith, family and friends.
He was known by all for his big heart, fair voice, and especially his love and devotion to help others when they needed it the most.
His never ending love and care for others was dearly felt by his family and throughout the community and will be greatly missed by all.
He had a long career as a railroad engineer where he made many lifelong friends who he cherished. He especially enjoyed vacationing on the beach with his family and being outdoors hunting and fishing with his sons and friends.
Marcus believed in living life to its fullest and his greatest reward was the smile he put on other's faces.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from the Philadelphia Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Buchanan, Rev. Brian Prance and Rev. Jerry Sims officiating. Interment followed in Harmony Cemetery.
Mr. McKinney was preceded in death by his father, J.E. McKinney. He is survived by his wife, Deborah McKinney; sons, Tim (Christy) McKinney, Joel (Carrie) McKinney, Jason (Wendy) McKinney; mother, Ruth Smith; grandchildren, Gabbie McKinney, Emmaline McKinney; brother, Perry (Sandra) McKinney; nieces, Rebekah (Matt) Ellerbee, Jennifer McKinney; nephew, Charlie McKinney; great niece, Sarah Elaine Ellerbee.

He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya and Fred Buchanan of Tate, Tammy and Gary Silvers of Marble Hill, Tabatha and Atlas Chumley of Marble Hill; ex-wife, Dorothy Cantrell; brother, Frank Cantrell of Jasper; sister, JoAnn Joe of Cartersville; 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cantrell was cremated following the visitation.

Mr. Herbert Kenneth Scott passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. He was born in Portland, Georgia to William H. Scott and Clara Parker Scott. Mr. Scott recently lost his wife of 21 years, Anita Kunkel Granito-Scott.
Mr. Scott is survived by his step-daughters, Deborah Smith of New York and Sharon (George) Habiniak of New York.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 6, 2016. A graveside service will follow at Lake Forrest Memorial Park in Jasper.
